NIGHT'S SECRET
So easily does this night portray,
It is the night that rolls the sea,
For each, half a lifetime does nightly court,

POSSIBILITY OF BEING
This is the creature there has never been.

The beauty of God's wonders, the mountains and the sky
Mountains filled with bounty to flourish and survive
Majestic creature of the night, the tiger saunters forward
Inside the enchanted forest,
Their fur is white and soft
Beside a pond they wait and watch,
Sometimes they see the magic,
Bubbles float on water,
Eyes grow tired and sleepy,
They gathered in the garden after the sun went down
Each one shared there memories and giggled with delight
Magical tricks were easy, they only had to think
The starlight sprinkled through the leaves
Colors of lavender, teal and pale blue
They sit upon the shore line, waiting for a wave
Golden hooves hit the sand with a thunderous roar
Sand * * *
They found her asleep neath a canopy of trees
Fairies dance round as she sleeps through the night
Never before had they seen such a sight
They guarded her silently thoughout the long night
Sand * * *
Listen to the wind chimes, tinkling in the night
Covered up with fairy dust the paradise below
I see them with their wings held high, their skirts of misty hue
Poetry by Sandra Prouse
it's gentle magnificence with ease.
For us to witness in nocturnal display,
such wonders in crowning glory appease.
beneath its dark yet gentle embrace.
Deeply hidden so secretly,
are wonders unseen by the human race.
it's gentle magnificence reminds us all.
For us a lifetime is nocturnally short,
nights crowning glory does secretly call.

They never knew it, and yet, none the less,
They loved the way it moved, its suppleness,
its neck, its very gaze, mild and serene.
Not there, because they loved it,
it behaved as though it were.
They always left some space.
And in that clear unpeopled space they saved
it lightly reared its head,
with scarce a trace of not being there.
They fed it, not with corn, but only with
the possibility of being.
And that was able to confer such strength,
its brow put forth a horn. One horn.
Whitely it stole up to a maid-
to be within the silver mirror
and in her.

Soft Poetry By Sand

Filled with life abundant, left to multiply
Creatures of the forest, winged birds and dinosaurs
Combined to make a world of beauty for all eyes to adore
The sky in all its wonder, meant to glorify
Man in greed and plunder, relinquishes the right
To have forever beauty that was made with love and light
Gliding through the jungle leaves to settle on a rock
Graceful beast of beauty, serene amidst his home
Perishing in numbers, until he is alone

where unicorns reside
There lives three adorable cubs,
with the prettiest blue eyes
and they're playful as can be
They love to watch the unicorns,
dancing magically
hoping they will see
Magic unicorns appear,
strutting gracefully
sometimes they do not
But always they are happy
just to rest in the magic spot
the stars above glow bright
The cubs are tired of waiting
for the unicorns tonight
a sound is heard nearby
The Gathering Place

A cool breeze floated through the air and touched the emerald ground
Seated on the petals of a morning glory vine
They shared there stories of a magical fairy time
At the magical times they shared as they learned of fairy flight
At times they stumbled, bruised their knees or scraped an arm or two
And sometimes they would sit and cry because flying was hard to do
And each one had its own design, sometimes you had to blink
Others called for a magical wand made from a special tree
Sprinkled with fairy dust and waved in the air with glee
The fairies yawned with tiredness
They'd been having so much fun
They hadn't realized the hour
Fantasy

Colors of the ocean with green added too
A bright glowing moon and stars in the sky
Lighting the heavens for fairies to fly
Encapsuled in stardust they magically fade
Unicorns prance out of waves in the ocean
While mermaids sit quietly in silent devotion
Falling stars collide in the sky's bright azure
A magical picture of fantasy lore
Painted with imagination for you to adore
Asleep In The Forest
~Copyright-Poetry by Sand~
Covered with ivy and flowers and leaves
The stars twinkled brightly as they peered down below
The light from the moon made her face all aglow
Her presence a gift to the fairies delight
She wandered the forest alone in the dark
And fell asleep neath the moon with a weary heart
A woman in human form with a light that shone bright
They marveled at her beauty and her flaming red hair
And a mark that distinquished her as one of theirs
Touching her softly they covered her with light
Safe in the forest, she slept with great peace
Oblivious to the fairies that guarded her sleep
WIND CHIMES

Summoning the fairies, to take a moonlight flight
Wings glowing with fairy dust and magical sprites appear
Flitting through the forest amid a woodland sphere
Glows like a lantern in the night, soft light gently flows
Whispered secrets flourish and giggles can be heard
As fairies gather in a circle, making fairy mirth
The bluebells tinkle when they're near, as if they see them too
Gowns of soft pastels and skin of golden brown
Fireflies dancing in the air and circling the ground
